Adaptive Photonics Group

Welcome

Adaptive Photonics group carries out research at the interface of photonics and materials engineering, developing tailor-made hybrid, photosensitive materials, based on liquid crystals, polymers and inorganic nanomaterials.

Our research concerns photonic materials, such as inorganic nanocrystals and soft matter, combining their functionalities to achieve enhanced nonlinear, electro and magneto-optic properties. We exploit new and adaptive material platforms for light-induced waveguide devices, light modulation, optical limiting, steering and filtering.
