A Springfield, Va. native, James Wagner grew up across the world, from Venezuela to Belgium to the Philippines, thanks to his father’s work. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Virginia, and has since worked at the Los Angeles Times, San Gabriel Valley (Calif.) Tribune and Washington Post.
