MSNBC and FOX both love this government program. Wait, what?

Dictionary.com defines poverty as “the state or condition of having little or no money, goods, or means of support.” So it stands to reason that we can end poverty by giving everyone money, right?

Well, that’s the idea behind a basic income, which everyone from Milton Friedman to Martin Luther King to Richard Nixon to Jonathan Gruber has endorsed over the years. MSNBC’s Krystal Ball makes a great case for it above, just a month after Fox News’s Stuart Varney did the same.
