Baghdad (NINA) –The elections results announced by the Independent High Electoral Commission show that five politicians have exceeded the limit of 100,000 votes.
These politicians are distributed on the Iraqiya Slate, State of Law’s Coalition and the Iraqi National Alliance.
Three figures have passed the limit of 250,000 represented by Nouri al-Maliki, Ayad Allawi and Usama al-Nijeifi.
The head of the SLC and Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki won 622,961 votes to come in the first place in Baghdad province as well as all over Iraq.
In the second place in Baghdad, the head of the Iraqiya Slate Ayad Allawi came with 407,537 votes. Also from the Iraqiya Slate, but from Nineveh province came Usama al-Nijeifi in third place with 274,741 votes. With 200,963 votes, Tariq al-Hashimi from Baghdad came in fourth place.
From Baghdad also, the head of the Iraqi National Alliance Slate in Baghdad Ibrahim al-Jaafary won the fifth place all over Iraq with 101,053 votes. /End/
