Ramadi (NINA) – One gunman killed and another wounded (believed to be a Syrian national), as well as 3 soldiers wounded on Saturday, Dec. 21, in clashes between the military and gunmen in Baghdadi area, near Lion’s Eye Base in western Anbar.
Earlier in the day, security source told NINA that a military force clashed with armed elements near the Lion’s Eye Base, (formerly Qadisiya Air base) in Baghdadi area of Hadeetha district, in western Anbar province.
The source added that it is not known whether there are casualties as a result of the clashes; but the source pointed out that military enforcement being dispatched to the area. / End.
