Projects in Action: EU regional cooperation through the eyes of journalists

Projects in Action, a magazine produced by the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre is published today, highlighting the grass roots impact of EU Neighbourhood cooperation, with stories about real people in real communities across the EU's neighbourhood from the Maghreb to the Caucasus.

For the past two years, local journalists and photographers collaborating with the Info Centre have been visiting EU-funded projects – ranging from initiatives to empower Palestinian women, to forest protection patrols in Azerbaijan, from support to filmmakers portraying the Arab Spring, to a project highlighting the avant-garde architectural legacy of Moscow.
 
Introduced by an interview with Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle, the Projects in Action magazine brings together feature stories and photographs produced over the past year by the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre in two editions, one dedicated to the Eastern Neighbourhood, and one to the EU's Southern Neighbours.
