The economic expert, former adviser at the Central Bank, Majid al-Suri told the National Iraqi News Agency / NIINA / , that " state-owned companies ," the public sector " are a great burden on the state budget without any positive results that promote the country's economy ," adding " The state-owned companies have not yet be restructured , but some of the few companies . "
He pointed out that " the reluctance of the public sector has led to impede the development process in Iraq, because they constitute a large partof the industrial base in Iraq , because they are great obstacle to the budget and they should be restructured in order to be a contributing factor to the general budget of the financial resources ."
The economic expert proposed , restructuring of the public sector through the creation of the developmental Bank to care restructuring factories and at the same time cares in re- industrial and service sectors in Iraq. " / End
