Georgetown invites students and community members to celebrate the Advent season with on-campus retreats, worship services and holiday gatherings. "Georgetown, as the oldest Catholic and Jesuit university, celebrates Advent in a distinctive way. We're a university but we have this religious mission, this religious founding. And we invite people to participate in that" explains Rev. Kevin O'Brien, S.J. "At times like this, students of different faith traditions come together to pray and to remember that we're about something greater than ourselves here."
