We Know The Official Start Date For 'Sonny With A Chance' -- Will Demi Make It Out In Time? Exclusive!

HollywoodLife.com has learned when Disney’s Sonny With A Chance will begin filming and it’s very soon! Hopefully, Demi Lovato is well enough to start shooting again!

Demi Lovato is currently living in a treatment facility and has been for months, seeking help for “emotional issues.” Although her rep has said the 18-year-old Disney starlet will be released sometime after the New Year, we anticipate it being sooner than later because her show, Sonny with a Chance, starts shooting in mere weeks!

Disney tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively the comedy show is scheduled to begin production the week of Jan. 30. However, it is our understanding the first several weeks will be spent shooting “So Random!” sketches and Demi isn’t expected to be there for all of them.

Thankfully, Disney has stood by their star, saying it will ensure filming will work around Demi completing treatment. Nevertheless, we wouldn’t be surprised if Demi is released and working very soon. We can’t wait!

She should return to work when SHE is ready and not before. Hopefully her family & doctors are advising her of this.
Her fans will still be here to support her. :)

I hope Demi doesn’t feel any pressure to return to work, because what we as her fans want is her to be happy and healthy. We don’t want her to feel pressured or stressed. She’s a wonderful girl and I will always support her.
