The timeline for Egypt's presidential elections as announced by Farouk Sultan, head of the committee supervising the electoral process:

March 3: official elections website was launched

March 10 – April 8: floor for presidential candidacy was opened

April 9: candidates' endorsements were announced

April 10, 11: room for pleas

April 12, 13: court analyzed appeals and ruled out those invalid

April 14, 15: candidates whose appeals were ruled out appeal against court's decision

April 26: final candidates were announced

April 30 – May 20: campaigns kicked off

May 11 – 17: expatriates vote

May 23 – 24: Egypt votes

May 26: vote count ends and records are transferred to presidential committee

May 27: floor for appeals against results opens

May 29 – May 31: verdict on appeals revealed

May 30 – June 15: runoffs' campaigns kick off

June 3 – June 9: expatriates vote in second round

June 16, 17: Egypt votes in second round

June 18: vote count ends and winners are announced

June 19: floor for appeals against results opens

June 21: winning candidate is announced
