Be sure not to miss this kick-off to the 2014 Kingston Feb Fest Celebration on Thursday, February 6, 2014. Doors open 6:30pm. Game time 7:30 pm.

The Carr-Harris Challenge Cup was initiated in 1986 by the International Hockey Hall of Fame to celebrate the 100th year of the hockey rivalry between Queen’s and the Royal Military College, dating back to 1886. It is the oldest hockey rivalry in the world on record.

The Carr-Harris Challenge Cup trophy was donated by the Centennial Committee and features the “Lennie” sculpture by Kingston artist Joan Belch. The trophy depicts Lennox Irving, the Queen’s player who scored the lone goal in the inaugural game between the two teams. Read more…
