In the midst of making signings shortly after the 4 p.m. start of free agency, the Washington Redskins lined up visits with a couple of prospects.
The team will host Ravens cornerback Corey Graham and Texans defensive end Antonio Smith, multiple people with knowledge of the situation confirmed.
Graham, 28, just completed his second season with the Ravens and his seventh in the NFL. The 6-foot, 196-pounder last season recorded 74 tackles, 12 pass breakups and four interceptions.
Smith just completed his ninth season in the NFL and his fifth in Houston. The 6-4, 289-pound Oklahoma State product last season recorded 30 tackles and five sacks and a forced fumble.

Washington looks to upgrade its secondary while also aiming to make its defensive front more disruptive.
Cornerbacks DeAngelo Hall and David Amerson have contracts, as do backups Richard Crawford and Chase Minnifield. But Minnifield spent the bulk of last season on the practice squad and is untested, and Crawford missed all of 2013 with torn ligaments in his knee.
At defensive end, Jarvis Jenkins will return for what could be his third season as a starter, and the team earlier this offseason re-signed Chris Baker, who started the final three games of 2013 and finished the year as the second-most productive defensive lineman on the roster. Starter Stephen Bowen remains under contract but is recovering from microfracture surgery. It’s believed that Smith would be used as a pass rusher in nickel packages.
Washington has yet to make any signings to fill their vacant strong safety and free safety positions – which represent two of its most pressing needs.
