1. What are the Confirmit ACE Awards?
The ACE (Achievement in Customer Excellence) Awards program was established in 2005 to recognize outstanding achievement in customer experience. Receiving a Confirmit ACE Award demonstrates both rigorous application of Voice of the Customer processes and outstanding performance as measured by those processes.
2. How many Confirmit ACE Awards are given out per year?
As many as qualify. Confirmit encourages as many of our Voice of the Customer clients as possible to consult with their Confirmit Account Manager or Program Manager about their eligible programs, and enter at least once.
3. Is there a fee to apply?
No, there is no fee to apply for the Confirmit ACE Awards.
4. Who judges the awards, and how are they judged?
A panel of Confirmit’s experts will review the applications to determine the qualifying entrants.

5. How are the performance criteria for the ACE Award determined?
The award criteria are based on Confirmit’s long experience in designing, implementing, and analyzing the results of Voice of the Customer programs across all kinds of businesses and markets. This includes a combination of quantitative and qualitative measures that best encapsulate the program and its results, and which reflect recognized best practices in VoC.
6. Have the judging criteria change since last year?
We have made some changes to the criteria for the 2014 awards. The changes have been made to reflect VoC best practices and to ensure that the awards continue to align to these as they evolve. The changes have increased the focus on qualitative measures such as sharing feedback and taking action on customer feedback. A sample nomination form is available here.
7. My company has won an ACE Award in the past, will the new criteria affect my chances of winning again?
The new criteria remain stringent, but are comparable to the criteria from previous years. If your company has won an ACE Award in the past and your program has continued to yield successes for your business, you should still meet the criteria to win an award.
8. Can two or more separate divisions of the same company apply for an ACE Award?
Yes, you may apply for awards for separate divisions, departments or programs. The applications request specific information and results based on a customer, employee or partner programs, with each application judged separately on its own merit.
9. Who can help me with my application form?
We encourage you to consult with your account or program manager to assess your eligibility and assemble the required information about the program(s) you wish to submit for consideration. However, you must sign and submit the application form for your company yourself. If you have additional questions, you can contact aceawards@confirmit.com.
10. When will the winners be announced?
The winners of the 2014 ACE Awards will be notified by April 18, 2014. The date for public announcements will be provided to winners at that time.
11. What marketing support do winners get?
Winners will receive a marketing kit which includes:
a. A logo they can use on their website and marketing collateral
b. A press release template
c. The opportunity to order a trophy commemorating their win.
12. If I win an award, how do I collect the trophy? If I win multiple awards, will I receive multiple trophies?
Confirmit will provide information about how to order trophies when we notify the ACE Award winners on or before April 18, 2014. Each winning application is eligible for a trophy. If your company wins multiple awards you qualify to receive multiple trophies. The first trophy awarded to a company is free; you may order additional trophies at your own expense.
13. Can I see the nomination form in advance so I can plan my application?
Yes. A sample nomination form is available here which provides all the questions in the application, and shows sample answers to enable you to craft your responses to best reflect your program.
FAQs: ACE Awards for Best Use of Feedback Solutions
1. What are the additional ACE Awards categories? How many awards are there? In addition to the annual Confirmit ACE Awards, we will recognize achievement in feedback to realize measurable business results through the following ACE Award categories:
• Best Use of Feedback for Voice of the Customer
• Best Use of Feedback for Voice of the Employee
• Best Use of Innovation in Customer or Employee Engagement
• Best Use of Insight through an Market Research Agency
• Best Use of Feedback to Drive Overall Business Impact
• Best Use of Feedback in the Contact Center
The Best Use of Feedback Solutions Awards are separate honors that will be awarded in addition to the 2014 ACE Awards. One winner will be chosen in each of the above six categories.
2. Who is eligible for the ACE Awards for Best Use of Feedback Solutions?
All applicants for the 2014 Confirmit ACE Awards are eligible to apply for these additional awards.

3. Why are some of these categories different to previous years?
We’ve made changes to 2 of the awards in order to ensure that as many customers as possible are able to get involved. As our customers’ programs evolve according to best practice, we’re keen that we provide categories that enable businesses to showcase excellence in the right way.
4. How do I apply for an ACE Award for Best Use of Feedback? Should I apply for it at the same time that I apply for a Confirmit ACE Award?
We encourage customers to apply for both awards at the same time. The two awards types both have online application forms which can each be accessed through the Confirmit website.
a. The standard awards nomination form consists of several short questions covering the scope, operation and results of the programme.
b. The ACE Award for Best Use of Feedback requires a brief written description of 500 words or less.
5. Can I apply for more than one ACE Award for Best Use of Feedback Solutions?
Yes, you may apply for as many of these additional awards as you feel relate to the customer, employee or partner survey program(s) that your company ran for at least six months during the period between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013.
6. Can I win more than one ACE Award for Best Use of Feedback Solutions?
Yes, the same organization could win more than one of the additional awards, though that organization would have to demonstrate exceptional accomplishment in separate written descriptions for each category you wish to apply for, and describe outstanding business results for each.
7. When will the winners be announced?
The winners of the 2014 Confirmit ACE Awards and the ACE Awards for Best Use of Feedback will be notified by April 18, 2014.
7. Will winners of the ACE Award for Best use of Feedback Solutions receive a trophy? How do I collect the trophy if I win?
Yes, we will award a trophy for the winning application in each category for Best Use of Feedback. If your company wins multiple awards you are eligible to receive multiple trophies. The first Best Use of Feedback trophy awarded to a company is free; you may order additional trophies at your own expense. Confirmit will provide information about how to order trophies when we notify the award winners on or before April 18, 2014.
8. What are the benefits of applying for these additional awards for Best Use of Feedback Solutions?
The award winners will be announced publicly to the press, will receive a special award logo for use on their websites and/or in marketing collateral (subject to approval by Confirmit), and will receive an additional trophy in recognition of the ACE Award for Best Use of Feedback. Winners of these awards must agree to participate in Confirmit marketing activities which may include, but are not limited to, a press release on the award winner(s) in which winner(s) will be quoted; written customer case studies, video case studies, and/or podcast interviews with customer; and conversations with select journalists and industry analysts. The winners will review and approve all joint marketing deliverables.
