Every site on the map is trafficking the story of Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett, who was arrested Wednesday after allegedly turning unruly at Northern Lights Grill in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Details are scarce on exactly what Jarrett did to trigger a visit from the authorities and a brief stint in jail. From the Star Tribune: “Police had been called about an intoxicated man at the grill. Officers reported Jarrett refused to follow orders and was arrested for obstruction of the legal process and taken to jail.”

Fox News just passed along this statement: “We were made aware late last night that Gregg Jarrett was arrested in Minneapolis yesterday and charged with a misdemeanor. He is dealing with serious personal issues at this time. A date for which Gregg might return to air has yet to be determined.”

Indeed, TVNewser has reported that Jarrett, a weekend anchor, had requested some time off for “personal reasons,” and Fox News accommodated him.
