Sh.D.K.Sinha :- The life sketch of Sh.D.K.Sinha is an inspiring and moving story Sh.D.K.Sinha was a senior Advocate practicing in Supreme Court and was considered among top legel luminaries of India. Despite being such a busy senior Advocate of supreme court, he devoted his valuable time, energy and resources for Avantika, for making a better society and building a stronger India. He was an exceptionally gifted personality and anyone who came in contact him even today remembers his warmth & affection and the visionary personality that he was,
He Contributed to the Society though social organization and NGO’s that he was working with. Avantika was closest to his heart. He was associated with Avantika from very early days. He had a dream vision as on instrument of society. He gave Avantika a new vision and dynamism, coupledwith diligence and efforts of Dr.Anand Aggarwal,Sanjay ji & other members of Avantika family the Avantika rose to new heights. It was Sh.Sinha’s leadership under which Avantika took some significant strides forward. He made Avantika, an organization of “Artists” and “Intellectuals”.
Be it his family, friends, organizations and all those people whom shri D.K.Sinha ji served and who came in touch with him,dearly miss him and cherish his memories and values. Our heartfelt gratitude and highest regards to the inspiration personality of Late Shri D.K.Sinha Ji.
Dr. Anand Aggarwal :-Dr. Anand Aggarwal is born and brought up in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, a place known for its cultural heritage and communal integration. He did his graduation and post graduation from Lucknow University and later did his Doctorate from Agra University in Fine Arts. He is now based in India and is National Director of Avantika.
He is a source behind establishing Avantika in 1985, an organization, which has now more than 600 centers across the nation. Dr. Anand always believes that one person can bring change in the society. In the past 25 years, he has visited many places; I would say almost all districts and remote areas where even govt. agencies do not present. He believes that our biggest strength is our youth and if we nurture them properly then no one can beat us. India can be a super power but we have to make sure that it uses its power in the right direction and for the development of the human being.
Dr. Anand has received many national and international awards but he always stay away from them as receiving awards is not the purpose of his life as he believes that the biggest reward, which he can ever receive is to by making every child special
Dr.G.B Jain :- Dr.Guninder Bahadur Jain, a distinguished member of the Indian medicalfraternity,who passed away peacefully on 31st December 2009 was an eminent physician,a noble human being a wonderful writer, poet, philanthrope to the core, Born 26th March 1930 at burnala.
Sh.G.P. Chopra :- Shri G.P.Chopra, an eminent educationist ,was awarded Padma Shree by the Govt. of India in 1999,Padma Bhushan award in 2010 for his total involvement with the cause of intellectuals in recognition of his services to society. He was also awarded Avantika Hindustan Ratna Samman by Avantika at IIC ,New Delhi. At a function in October 2005,where the President of India Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam was the chief guest , Shri Chopra was made a Distinguished fellow of the Foundation for unity of religions and Enlightened Citizenship(FUREC)for his contribution to the field of education with value. Shri Chopra graduated from Murrey College ,Sialkot and thereafter did his M.A. in English from Government College ,Lahore, Had a brilliant ,outstanding academic record .Principal John Garrett of Murrey College wrote about him as “one of best student we ever had ”and Principal Sondhi of Government College Lahore describe him as” A Student of Outstanding Personality”.
