King congratulates Haider Al-Abadi on being appointed Prime Minister of Iraq

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of congratulations to Haider Al-Abadi on the occasion of being appointed as Iraq’s new Prime Minister. In his message, the King prayed to God Almighty to grant Prime Minister Al-Abadi success in restoring cohesion among the Iraqi people, preserving the unity of Iraq and achieving security and stability.

King Abdullah also sent cables of congratulations to Iraq’s new president, Mohammed Fuad Masum, and the new President of Iraq’s House of Representatives, Dr. Salim Al-Jubouri. The King wished them success in their positions and hoped for the Iraqi people to enjoy steady security, stability and prosperity.
