Ken Scott’s comedy “Delivery Man” throws out to the audience a variety of profound questions regarding parenthood, but never really wants to answer them out of concern to adhere to Hollywood plot conventions and fear of eccentricity. What an interesting concept, yet a lackluster execution. Whereas in the hands of, say, a European director, this film could have been a comedy classic about the roots of human biology and parental responsibility.
