‎17 convicted terrorism-related crimes, membership in Kingdom’s most violent cell

A specialized court in Riyadh today convicted 17 defendants of terrorism-related crimes and ‎sentenced them to between thirty months and 26 years in prison.  The defendant were convicted of ‎membership in one of the Kingdom’s most violent terrorist cell, joining terrorist-led fighting ‎abroad,  terror financing, weapons offenses, forgery,  and rendering assistance to wanted terrorists.  The ‎defendants ‎have thirty days to appeal their convictions.‎
