The Mustafa El Baradei Fellowship in International and Comparative Law (LLM)
The program is designed to provide tuition coverage for a graduate with a degree in law from an Egyptian Public university admitted in the International and Comparative Law  (LLM) program at the American University in Cairo.  The applicant must have an excellent academic record and be able to demonstrate financial need.

This fellowship honors the memory of Mr. Mostafa El Baradei, a distinguished Egyptian lawyer who was elected five times as president of the Egyptian Bar Association between 1958 and 1975.  Throughout his long and honorable career, Mr. El Baradei consistently advocated a free and pluralist Egyptian society firmly grounded in the greater Arab nation.  He worked tirelessly to defend the integrity and independence of the legal profession, and he firmly believed in the critical role of lawyers and the legal profession in shaping a just society. Yousef Jameel GAPP Public Leadership Fellowship

In May 2011, Yousef Jameel, working with the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP), initiated the Yousef Jameel Public Leadership Fellowship Program, with the overall objective of building the capacity of young competent Egyptian nationals in the areas of public policy and public administration, and preparing them for leadership roles in Egypt after the January 25 Revolution.

By supporting 300 fellows in 12 cohorts of 25 Egyptian graduate students per year, the Yousef Jameel Public Leadership Program will have contributed to creating a cadre of well educated, competent graduates ready to take on the responsibility of affecting change in the Egyptian society.

Building the Next Generation of Scholars in Egyptian Public Universities GAPP Public Leadership Fellowship

AUC’s School of Global Affairs and Public Policy and the Ford Foundation are pleased to announce the launch of the second phase of the Building the Next Generation of Scholars (BNGS), a fellowship program aimed at developing the capacity of young academicians in public policy research, study and evaluation. To benefit from the fellowship, candidates must pursue at AUC either a master’s degree in public policy, public administration or a master’s degree in a relevant social science discipline plus a diploma in public policy.

Awarded students will not only enjoy high quality multidisciplinary education, but will also enjoy being part of AUC’s multicultural environment.
