Mosul / NINA / A source in the Peshmerga forces announced on Tuesday the liberation of a number of villages in the outskirts of Zammar located west of Mosul.
The source told the National Iraqi News Agency / Nina / that "the Peshmerga forces and with air support of the international coalition recaptured four villages within Zammar district northwest of Mosul.
He outlined that "the Peshmerga forces launched an attack on the strongholds of the IS organization and managed to liberate the villages of (Chersor, Kharab al-Tiben, first and second, half of the oil pipeline, Ceyhan passing through those areas and the second phase of the irrigation project of the island between Zammar and Rabia) ./ End
