NUDE in VOGUE

In November 2012 Russian VOGUE published a special issue entitled THE NUDE IN VOGUE. The publication includes the best photographs from Conde Nast’s International archives – photographs that have been taken by great artists over the course of the more than a century that the magazine has existed. THE NUDE IN VOGUE contains establishing works of Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Bruce Weber, Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino, Steven Klein, Annie Leibovitz, Alix Malka and many others. Each of these masters has his or her own understanding of beauty, vision of the nature of sexuality and his or her own way of conveying the naked body’s strength and beauty. THE NUDE IN VOGUE demonstrates how much attitudes to beauty and its concept change with the time and the fashion. THE NUDE IN VOGUE is the second collection edition published by VOGUE Russia, which established an annual tradition of 13th VOGUE Russia special issues. In March 2013 the project will be followed by the exhibition NUDE IN VOGUE which will take place at The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. The catalog of the same name will be released for this event.
VOGUE. TOY STORY

On December 3rd, 2012 VOGUE Russia along with Naked Hearts Foundation held a Charity Auction VOGUE.TOY STORY conducted by Christie’s Auction House. The Event took place at The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. Sixteen Russian designers created unique art objects, the only ones of their kind, inspired by the theme of children’s toy. The auction raised 605 000 euros in total. VOGUE Russia has produced an exclusive catalogue presenting all the 16 lots with the description details. All the funds raised go to the Naked Hearts Foundation and will be spent on the support of families raising children with various disabilities and on children’s playgrounds development in different cities and towns in Russia.
