Dan Colen

(b.1979 in New Jersey) He lives and works in New York. He graduated with a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Art and Design in 2001. Colen’s work resides in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, The Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Oslo Norway, and has been exhibited at the New Museum, New York; Macro Future Museum, Rome, Italy; Saatchi Gallery, London, United Kingdom; the 2006 Whitney Biennial; The Royal Academy; PS1 Contemporary Art Center, Long Island, New York; The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, Oslo.
