Keeping to the right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

FROM THE WEST: Take I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway) to I-94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

FROM MIDWAY AIRPORT (10 Miles) OR SOUTHWEST:: Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

FROM THE SOUTH OR INDIANA via I-80/94: From I-80/94, exit at I-94 West (Bishop Ford Expressway) and proceed on I-94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

FROM INDIANA-SKYWAY: Take I-90 West (Indiana Tollway turns into the Chicago Skyway). Merge onto I-90/94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Exit at I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

GRACoL Plus - Expanded Gamut and G7

Don Hutcheson, HutchColor

Don Hutcheson, inventor of the G7 Method, has begun formal work on an expanded G7 calibration procedure for an expanded gamut G7 dataset. Most good sheetfed printers are capable of increasing the quality and gamut of their print condition using their normal CMYK inks. The GRACoL committee is developing a set of procedures and best practices to be used by offset printers to calibrate to an expanded gamut G7 calibration in their shops which Don will review and update everyone on. Not to be missed!

Steve Smiley, Chair of the Print Properties and Colorimetric Committee, will review a new initiative that looks closely at Spot Colors and their relationship to G7.

Brenda Pang will review how Chutian Print was able to realize four key advantages from Implementing G7: Cost Savings, Efficiency, Quality Control and Skills Upgrade including saving 10-15% on ink waste and 30% on paper.

M1 and the Impact on Lighting, Measurement, and G7

Ron Ellis, Chair of the GRACol committee, will describe how in 2013 and 2014, ISO and CGATS introduced a new set of standards and profiles based on M1 and the new G7 based CGATS 21 and ISO 15339 are all based on M1 measurement and how these new standards give us more realistic paper colors and aims, as well as the ability to customize based on actual substrate colors if you know how to take advantage of them properly.
