How to Get Away With Murder Recap: Is Rebecca the Killer?
Yikes, Could Interstellar Really Happen?It took 90 episodes (and 26 minutes of the 91st) for The Big Bang Theory's equivalent of man walking on the moon to blow viewers' minds last night. That's roughly 2,006 sitcom minutes that Shamy fans waited for the big moment to finally arrive: Sheldon told Amy that he loves her. That's right. HE. LOVES. HER.
The episode as a whole was a total bore—with the gang deciding to stage prom night after Penny decided to purge her closet to make way for her new business suits. In fact, there was little, if any, prom night at all. The episode mainly consisted of story lines I can't even remember now because SHELDON LOVES AMY. Truthfully, that's all that matters. If this was Friends, we would have gotten a hilarious subplot with Joey doing lunges in Chandler's clothes, but maybe that's how it was supposed to be. Maybe the only moment that really needed to shine was Amy gearing up to tell Sheldon that she loves him, but before she could get the words out, he said it first. Anything else wouldn't have been fair to Amy. Sure, Sheldon wouldn't let Amy lie on his bed after she had the makings of a post-love-admission panic attack, but this is Sheldon, not Jake Ballard.
