Yet Another Reason Stealing Someone's Boyfriend Isn't a Good Idea
What to Remember When You Feel Like You're Always Going to Be SingleSometimes it's intimidating to admit to ourselves what we'd like in bed, let alone asking for it out loud. But if you've ever fantasized about being dominated 50 Shades of Grey-style or engaging in a menage a trois (or quatre or cinq), you can take comfort knowing you're in good company.
The University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres department of psychology recently studied 1,500 college-age men and women in an attempt to determine which sexual fantasies are unusual or common. The researchers found that 65 percent of women dream of being dominated, which could include being spanked, whipped, or tied up. Another 57 percent want to hook up with three or more men and women at once. And a full 92 percent want to swap sweet nothings with their sexual partner.
On the unusual side, 28 percent of women want to get with a different race, while just 18 percent fantasize about sleeping with someone much younger.
And in the "thank God" category: Fewer than 1 percent of women have fantasized about having sex with a child 12 years old or younger.
