MSU Dubai

Michigan State University's commitment to global engagement has led to the establishment of a strong and dynamic presence in the United Arab Emirates. Under the direction of MSU's International Studies & Programs office in East Lansing, Michigan, USA, and operating as a partner of Dubai International Academic City, MSU in Dubai is focusing on master's degree programs, custom and open enrollment executive education programs, research and consultancy, and Study Abroad opportunities.

Among MSU's other strong connections in the region is our partnership with the Al Majdouie Group in establishing the Middle East Logistics Institute (MELI) in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This institute draws on MSU's world-class strengths in supply chain and logistics and is intended to serve as a beacon of excellence in knowledge and best practices for the region in this increasingly important subject area.

MSU offers Study Abroad opportunities in Dubai to US-based students. We were delighted to welcome our second Freshman Seminar Abroad group from the main campus in East Lansing in the winter of 2011-12 and hope many more will visit this fascinating and important region as part of their international experiences. We also expect that MSU in East Lansing will have the privilege of hosting an ever- increasing number of student visitors from the Greater Middle East in years to come.
