The State Secretary for Telecommunications, Aristides Safeca said so at weekend after a multi-sector visit to the south-east province of Cuando Cubango.
The visit is meant to implement Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA) project.
According to him, the Angosat comes into operation in the first quarter of 2017.
As for telecommunication field, the official clarified that the Angolan Government is engaged in search of adequate solutions for telecommunications, both in urban and rural areas.
On the other hand, the State Secretary announced that until 2017 the telecommunication system will cover all municipalities of Cuando Cubango province, with stress to Rivungo, Dirico, Cuangar and Calai.
