BAGHDAD / NINA / Head of the Iraq mission in, Tierse Audisho announced the Iraqi participation in the Asian Games which is scheduled to be held in the South Korean city of Anjun between the nineteenth of September until the fourth of next October.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the Organizing Committee of the tournament required that the ages of the players involved in the football competitions should be born in the month of January of 1991 and above, with the exception of three players above the legal age allowed to participate with the team in continental competitions.
He added that the preparatory committee for the Asian Games, headed by First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Bashar Mustafa has received reports of participation from the national federations. / End
