Iraq participates in the Gulf Cup championship in Saudi Arabia .

BAGHDAD / Nina /-- Cabinet decided to post the national football team in the coming Gulf Cup in Saudi Arabia .

The semi-official al-Iraqiya TV channel said : "The Council of Ministers decided in its meeting today that national football team be post the Gulf Cup 22, which will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Heads of Gulf Football federations granted the Iraqi Football Association deadline until the tenth of Jun current to determine Iraq’s position to participate in the Gulf 22 or not.

It is noteworthy to mention in this context , that Iraq decided to withdraw from this championship after the tournament of holding it in Basra and converted to the Saudi city of Jeddah . / End
