BAGHDAD / NINA / A political source said on Tuesday 6, Jan that "the head of the popular mobilization, Faleh al-Fayad, the national security adviser, joined the meetings of the House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri, with tribal leaders and elders of Diyala province in Sulaimaniyah."
The source told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "The meetings held by al-Jubouri in Sulaymaniyah, which was devoted to discuss ways to restore security and stability to the province of Diyala, also saw the presence of al-Fayad, who showed great understanding of the files that raised and he promised to support al-Jubouri's efforts in this regard."
The source revealed that "those meetings resulted in initial understandings may lead to positive results on the overall situation in the province of Diyala," pointing out that "al-Jubouri said he will follow those understandings and he will continue his efforts to restore stability to all the cities of the province."
It is mentioned that Fayad held, a meeting in Kirkuk yesterday with its governor, Najmalddin Kareem and discussed with him security and economic situation and the problem of displaced people there and joint efforts in countering terrorism.
