If you’re looking for happiness, as the old saying goes “Head West!,” or so it would appear according to a study recently completed by PLoS ONE, which analyzed tweets across the nation to find the places where happiness reigns supreme.
If California and Colorado are too long of a drive, though, die-hard Midwesterners can always head north to Green Bay or go to even further extremes by heading to the happy states of Vermont and Maine.
Just goes to show that sun isn’t for everyone.

Having just cruised down the California Coast on the Pacific Coast Highway, I can see why California rates highly, miles of beautiful coastline, Big Sur (beautiful area) and a great climate. We’re from the UK which is languishing a little lower in the charts, but we’re happ-happ-happy ourselves.
