Dues for the year (July 1, 2014-June 30, 2015) are $7,500, and membership is renewable on a year-by-year basis.  More information is available from Key Benefits of CNI Membership and the Membership FAQ.

To join CNI, please complete and submit a membership application.

CNI’s members include:

  • Higher Education Institutions
  • Publishers
  • Scholarly & Professional Organizations
  • Libraries
  • Information Technology & Telecommunications Companies
  • Government Agencies
  • Foundations

Representatives

Each member institution appoints two representatives to CNI, who are invited to attend CNI’s semi-annual membership meetings. Higher education institutions most often appoint their heads of libraries and information technology. Representatives for other types of member organizations vary greatly depending upon the nature of the organization; we would be happy to talk with new members about the choices that might be most effective for their institutions. Member representatives can be changed at any time.
