Nazila Fathi

Nazila Fathi was the Tehran correspondent for the New York Times from 1999 to 2009. She is the translator of The History and Documentation of Human Rights in Iran by Sherin Ebadi, the 2003 Nobel Peace laureate. She received a 2010–11 Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University, and will be a 2012 Joan Shorenstein Center Fellow at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
