A professional photographer from GradImages took individual photos of graduates as they crossed the stage during the school celebrations. Graduates should have received an email link and free passport-sized digital proof of their photos within three to seven days following the celebrations. Graduates can place their orders at online or call 800-261-2576.

Individual photos of students will not be taken during the University Commencement on Sunday, May 20, 2012.

The 2012 commencement speaker was Brian Williams, anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News,  who spoke to an estimated crowd of 25,000 and received an honorary degree from GW.  Business leader and humanitarian Carlos Slim and painter and GW alumna Clarice Smith also received honorary degrees. Graduating senior Noreen Kassam was selected as the student speaker for the ceremony. Read more in GW Today.
