Head of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Dr Haemoon Oh presented the International Hospitality Academy summer programme to UIC students on 16 March.

Dr Oh said the programme lets the students experience American hospitality culture. Courses include cooking, wine tasting and hotel management. Outdoor activities like golf and hotel visits are also on the menu.

“This programme can help you improve your communication skills. You can open your mind and make friends with people from other countries,” he added.
