In his new autobiography, convicted killer Peter Mangs says he planned to kill soccer superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2010, according to Sweden’s The Local.

“I thought there would be a proper hullabaloo in the media if the gent in question were to be shot,” he writes in his tome, referring to the Paris Saint-Germain striker.
Mangs, 43, says the idea to kill Ibrahimovic came to him after he spotted the soccer star’s red Ferrari parked illegally on a street in Malmo, Sweden. In the book, Mangs, known for his xenophobia, dubs what he saw as “typically Balkan behavior.” Ibrahimovic, who grew up in Sweden and plays for the country’s national team, is Bosnian by heritage.
Mangs’ plan fell apart quickly, however. He says he left the scene to go get his gun, but when he returned, the Ferrari, and presumably Ibrahimovic, had left.
Mangs is currently serving a life sentence in prison for two murders and eight attempted murders.
