Population is a term used to identify a group of human beings (number of persons) of all ages (Qataris and Non-Qataris) living within the boundaries of the State of Qatar, in houses, dwellings, locations, or life environment and s in a given time.

The numbers (size of the Population) are provided by conducting statistical exercises, like censuses (implemented during the years 1986, 1997, 2004 and 2010), surveys (such as household surveys executed since 1997 and onwards), midyear population estimations, and related projections.
