Student Enrollment by Curriculum and Class Level
This report uses the final enrollment statistics from the official tenth day of on-campus terms. (Preliminary enrollment figures may be posted before the tenth day.) Reports for terms before Fall 2004 are sorted by college and curriculum code, with degree-granting and advising departments listed for each curriculum. Beginning in Fall 2004, reports are sorted by college, department code, and major code. Only students taking at least one on-campus, credit-bearing class are included in these reports. The following categories of students are excluded: auditors (students taking only non-credit classes); students taking only extramural or off-campus classes; Medical Scholars taking no on-campus, non-MSP classes. (Note: Illini Center MBA students are included in these statistics.)
Final Statistical Abstract
This report is a summary of student information on the tenth day of the term. Starting Fall 2004, we added pages including enrollments by Illinois county and country. Beginning with the Fall 2009 report, categories for student type have been changed in the By College, Student Type, and Class section (Page 2 in the HTML version). The Readmits and Returning students have been combined into one category. Returning students are no longer included in the Continuing & Nondegree category.
Preliminary Statistical Abstract
This report is a summary of student information on the first day of classes in a given term. Two formats are available: HTML and Excel. Beginning with the Fall 2009 report, categories for student type have been changed in the By College, Student Type, and Class section (Page 2 in the HTML version). The Readmits and Returning students have been combined into one category. Returning students are no longer included in the Continuing & Nondegree category. (Note: no report was run for Summer 2014 because of the system transition to Sunapsis.)

New Freshman Demographics
This report shows statistics for new beginning freshmen for selected Fall terms (10th day).
New format is similar to Final Statistical Abstract. Old format is Gender & Race by College.
Enrollment by Curriculum, Race, Sex, Residency
This report shows demographics of students by curriculum (pre-FA04) or major (post-FA04) for selected terms. Students are included or excluded according to the same criteria as in the "Student Enrollment by Curriculum and Class Level" report. Ethnic codes are self-reported, and foreign students are counted separately.
Enrollment by Student Level, Race, and Gender
This report shows demographics of undergraduate, graduate, and professional students by self-reported ethnic code and gender. Foreign students are counted separately. The Campus Profile also provides student demographics by level, ethnic code and gender in the drilldowns for items 3600-4020.
Foreign Students by Country
This report shows statistics for foreign students by country, based on tenth-day enrollment figures. These numbers do not match the annual Report on International Exchange released by Open Doors, for several reasons: their numbers are counted on the 30th day, not the 10th; and they include former students who are engaged in "Optional Practical Training" (OPT) and no longer enrolled in classes. (Note: we do not count Intensive English Institute students, and neither does Open Doors.)
Foreign Students by Country (Fall 1967-Fall 2012) - All years combined into single file; also includes data in unpivoted form.Enrollment by Illinois County, Race/Ethnicity
This report shows statistics for students having a permanent home address in Illinois as reported in the tenth-day enrollment figures. Each Excel file contains three spreadsheets: all students, new, and transfers.
