Provost's Committee for Diversity - 2015 Term

The Provost's Committee for Diversity is seeking new members for the 2015 term.

The Provost's Committee for diversity is seeking students that are: 

  • Action-oriented and prepared to create tangible institutional change;
  • Able to work constructively and collaboratively with a large group; 
  • Able to commit to a full 15-month term, which will begin in January 2015 and conclude in March 2016 and will include summer engagement. Distance and electronic methods of communication and collaborative work will be available. 

It is preferred that student representatives on the Provost's Committee for Diversity demonstrate: 

  • Intercultural appreciation and consciousness of issues affecting communities of color and communities at the margins; 
  • Knowledge and commitment to racial and social justice; 
  • Openness to intersectionalities between communities of color and communities at the margins; 
  • Good academic and student conduct standing.
