Spain: El Pais to launch new men's magazine Icon

Spanish daily newspaper El Pais will distribute the men's magazine every first Thursday of the month, without additional cost.
Icon, the men's magazine published by Mondadori and dedicated to fashion and lifestyle comes in Spain thanks to El Pais. The Spanish edition will be launched this autumn and will be published 10x a year as a supplement to the daily newspaper. The magazine will be however available independently throughout the month at the main newsstands.

In its Spanish version, Icon will continue the formula that has led the success of the magazine in Italy: the attention to the contemporary man and icons that represent it, through eyes of leading photographers and most prestigious international style of journalism.

In addition, the magazine will be completed by a web page in which photography and audiovisual content will have a fundamental role for the organisation of events in co-operation with the most prestigious fashion and luxury brands.

Icon, founded in Italy in April 2011, is a magazine about pop culture icons as well as cutting-edge subjects, with a specific focus on trend in fashion, arts, design, architecture and lifestyle.
