Library Journal’s Lead the Change offers timely resources and tools to stay ahead of the innovations and changes impacting the library profession. Library staff at all levels can participate in hands-on live events, access insightful on-demand webcasts, and new this year is LTC Leadership Academy – Online, an online learning program that will help staff learn essential skills, solve problems unique to their libraries, and put strategic plans into action. Join us for our first offering in April.
Also new in 2015 is the LTC Commons, an exclusive online alumni community where library professionals can share resources, make connections, and crowdsource solutions to their challenges.

Library staff can participate in hands-on professional development workshops focused on the essential skills needed to increase individual effectiveness and performance, and learn how today’s top library leaders are implementing changes and transforming their communities. Our two NEW 2015 programs, Professional Development for Library Staff and Transform Your Stacks to Drive Circulation are designed to optimize the contribution and impact of the individual staff member. Staff is encouraged to attend in groups for a unique team building experience but individual participants will benefit from the same learning experience to accelerate their careers! Learn more

Not everyone can attend a Lead the Change event in person, so we’ve launched the LTC Leadership Academy – Online, a series of intensive, interactive 4-week online education courses that will help library staff at all levels learn essential skills, solve problems unique to their libraries, and put strategic plans into action. Our inaugural courses, Digital UX Workshop and Maker Workshop, feature personalized interaction, combining real-time learning with asynchronous conversation and on-demand resources. Course facilitators will work with individuals in a coaching environment to help sort out personal challenges. Learn more.
