Omran died in London on Thursday, The Gulf Today reported. The paper did not give a cause of death, and staff at the paper said they did not know.
Omran ran the Al-Khaleej Press and Publishing House, which publishes the Arabic-language daily Al-Khaleej, the English-language The Gulf Today, as well as two weekly and two monthly magazines.
