Η ένταξη στο πρόγραμμα σπουδών της διδασκαλίας του προγραμματισμού στη Β΄ ΕΠΑΛ του Τομέα Πληροφορικής φέτος αποτέλεσε ένα σχετικά νέο αντικείμενο. Αποτελεί γεγονός ότι ο προγραμματισμός δεν προσλαμβάνεται θετικά από τους μαθητές, ενώ αρκετές δυσκολίες και παρανοήσεις εμφανίζει η διδασκαλία του σε αρχάριους. Έχει παρατηρηθεί ότι η προσέγγιση της διδασκαλίας με τον παραδοσιακό τρόπο των αρχών του προγραμματισμού αποτελεί έναν από τους παράγοντες στον οποίο οφείλονται αυτές οι δυσκολίες, καθώς αδυνατεί να παρέχει στους μαθητές το κίνητρο να εμπλακούν στην προγραμματιστική διαδικασία και δεν πετυχαίνει να μετατρέψει προβλήματα και έννοιες σε αντικείμενα διερεύνησης με τρόπο δημιουργικό και ευχάριστο. Η αξιοποίηση του προγραμματιστικού περιβάλλοντος Alice συνεισφέρει θετικά στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία καθώς (α) διευκολύνει τη διδασκαλία του προγραμματισμού, (β) προσελκύει το ενδιαφέρον των μαθητών για συμμετοχή και (γ) καθιστά τη διδασκαλία των προγραμματιστικών εννοιών πιο εύκολη και οικεία για τους μαθητές. Η εργασία αυτή αφορά στη διδασκαλία της δομής επανάληψης Επανάλαβε Εφόσον με τη χρήση του Alice, στο πλαίσιο του αναλυτικού προγράμματος σπουδών για το μάθημα «Αρχές Προγραμματισμού Υπολογιστών».

Information needs  is required in making a decision  to determine business direction. In daily purchase transaction deals in a retail store may be up to a million of records per day. The relationship between item purchased and consumers can be used to determine the layout of merchandise items in retail stores. The technique is used to search for items purchased linkage  is Market Basket Analysis. By knowing items purchased by consumers, the management can  determine merchandise items layout of the retail store  in order to make easier for consumers to obtain items needed.
Apriori Algorithm is used for searching the frequent item set by using the technique of  Association Rule. Since introduced by Agrawal, Imielinski and Swani, apriori algorithm has attracted a lot of research and been growing rapidly in complex research. Many applications have been identified such as cross-selling, website analysis, decision support system, credit evaluation, criminal prediction analysis, consumer behavior analysis and fraud detection. Apriori Algorithm recognizes item set combination that has been measured by cofidence and support, then the frequently purchased items easily identified. Purchased items grouped based on consumer choice. By grouping these items may be made  items layout.  The data mining used to support the desicion of frequently purchased items layout.
This study made prototype system to search information of consumers spending patterns. Meanwhile, the main data source is a data transaction in a retail store of Lottemart Semarang. Consumer spending pattern will be searched using apriori algorithm that will be used to build information systems.
The research and development methods of Borg and Gall (1987) used in this study. This methods designed prototype information system that provides recommendations for the merhandise items layout  in retail stores. Data taken from shopping items list bought by consumers. The main variables are shopping items list and the number of purchased items in a single invoice.

Video users in a multicast group may be highly heterogeneous in terms of individual channel conditions and requirements for video transmission, making it a challenging task for the network to optimally configure the resource management. In this paper, we consider a mathematical model for the choice of the optimum number of transmission opportunities, based on a Markov chain representation of the wireless channel, where each channel state is associated to a different quality corresponding to a choice of video layer and Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS). In case of multicast transmissions, the selection of the video layer is based on the aggregate channel conditions of all users and a collection of coordination rules. We evaluate how the cross-layer optimisation performs and we also define a taxonomy of user quality perception. We further investigate how users’ satisfaction levels vary in the multicast session. Performance evaluation results show that cross-layer optimisation significantly outperforms sequential and independent scheme for multicast video transmissions, conforming the strong need for cross-layer solutions in video transmission, however, this improvement is heavily related to the resource allocation policy of the operator.

Time-dependent applications using TCP often send thin-stream traffic, characterised by small packets and high inter- transmission-times. Retransmissions after packet loss can result in very high delays for such flows as they often cannot trigger fast retransmit. Redundant Data Bundling is a mechanism that preempts the experience of loss for a flow by piggybacking unacknowledged segments with new data as long as the total packet size is lower than the flow maximum segment size. Although successful at reducing retransmission latency, this mechanism had design issues leaving it open for abuse, effectively making it unsuitable for general Internet deployment. In this paper, we have redesigned the RDB mechanism to make it safe for deployment. We improve the trigger for when to apply it and evaluate its fairness towards competing traffic. Extensive experimental results confirm that our proposed modifications allows for inter-flow fairness while maintaining the significant latency reductions from the original RDB mechanism.

We investigate the optimization of video transmis- sions over cellular networks by using the H.264 Scalable Video Coding (SVC) at the application layer and an Adaptive Modula- tion and Coding (AMC) scheme at the physical layer. We analyze how the cross-layer optimization (XLO) of these two techniques together performs compared to a sequential and independent selection of video packets and Modulation and Coding Schemes (MCS) with no cross-layer optimization (NXLO), in terms of goodput and packet delivery delay. We formulate an analytical model based on a Markov chain representing the wireless channel, where each state is associated to a different channel quality corresponding to a set of possible choices of video layer and MCS. Our numerical results show that XLO significantly outperforms NXLO for video transmissions, thereby pointing out the strong need for cross-layer solutions in video transmission.
