Television and Digital Journalism Fellowship

The Kamal Adham Center for Television and Digital Journalism is pleased to announce the launch of a dedicated fellowship for television and digital journalism students. The fellowship will be offered starting Fall 2015, and will be funded by returns from a munificent endowment granted to the center by the Kamal Adham family in 2007. The fellowship is designed to attract deserving and qualified Egyptian students who wish to pursue full-time study toward a two year master’s degree in television and digital journalism at AUC. Applicants from diverse regional and socioeconomic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This is to compensate for the underrepresentation of such groups in Egyptian media. Awarded students will enjoy a high quality education in broadcast journalism with full tuition waiver, monthly stipend, book allowance and possibly housing allowance (for non-residents of the greater Cairo area). In addition, the awarded students will get to participate in production work for Adham center’s AUC TV, gaining more hands-on experience as they go.
