UW regents name Ana Mari Cauce president

The University of Washington Board of Regents has selected Interim President Ana Mari Cauce to be the 33rd president of the UW. A member of the UW faculty since 1986, she rose through the ranks while increasing her responsibilities through a number of leadership positions. The selection will become effective upon successful completion of contract terms.
