Lynne Segall has left Deadline.com to return to The Hollywood Reporter as senior vice president and publisher. Segall spent two decades at THR as vice president and associate publisher. She most recently was at PMC, the publishers of Deadline.com, TVLine.com, Movieline.com and HollywoodLife.com. She spent four years at The Los Angeles Times before that, leading its entertainment, fashion and luxury ad sales.

At THR, a sibling publication of Adweek, her role will be to continue parent company Prometheus Global Media’s efforts to rejuvenate the brand under the editorial leadership of Janice Min.

Prometheus Global Media formed in late 2009 with the acquisition of Nielsen Business Media’s media and entertainment brands. Segall will report directly to CEO Richard Beckman.

“I could not be more delighted to welcome Lynne back home to The Hollywood Reporter,” Beckman said. “With her understanding of this brand, the Hollywood community, and her track record of achievement in publishing, online, and events there is no one stronger to lead the business side of The Hollywood Reporter on all of our growing platforms.”
