Yemeni Snipers Kill 5 Saudi Border Guards in Jizan
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Yemeni snipers stationed at the bordering areas with Saudi Arabia's Southern province of Jizan killed 5 Saudi soldiers, military sources said.

Al-Mayadeen news channel qouted a Yemeni army source as saying on Monday that the five soldiers were deployed in al-Shabakah, al-Qawiah and al-Malhamah bases located in Jizan province's al-Khaubah region.

Also, al-Maseera channel reported that the Yemeni forces' missile attacks against al-Shabakah base in Jizan destroyed a Saudi Abrams tank.

The Yemeni army and popular forces have targeted the Saudi military bases in the Southern parts of the kingdom with a barrage of rockets and missiles in the past few days.

The Yemeni forces fired 70 missiles and mortar shells at Al-Qawiya and Jbal al-Dokhan military bases in Jizan province, killing over 10 Saudi military troops on Saturday.

The army and popular forces also hit the Saudi troops' military centers in Al-Rabou'a in Asir province with mortars and missiles. There is yet no precise report on the number of Saudi army casualties in the attack in Rabou'a.

In Najran province, a military base in Western Al-Shurfa also came under the Yemeni troops' rocket attacks, where at least four Saudi soldiers lost their lives.

Also on Saturday, the Yemeni army and popular forces destroyed the military equipment of the Saudi-led forces in Ma'rib province in Eastern Yemen, killing Saudi Arabia's key commander in the region.

Two armored personnel carriers and a military vehicle of the Saudi-led forces were destroyed in Koufel region in Ma'rib province.
