- you weren't there!
MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY'S FIRST, MOST EXPERIMENTAL, AND MOST INNOVATIVE
RESIDENTIAL COLLEGE
"Perhaps the greatest potential for the kind of understanding necessary to a world community lies within the fraternal experience of living and studying within the small college community itself. ...

Justin Morrill College, combining the traditional with the innovative, challenges each student to discover himself and who he wants to be, and to learn something of the interdependence of the modern world."

This webpage is the central hub for information about the initiative addressing the future of the liberal arts and sciences at MSU.

The Residential College in the Arts and Humanities (RCAH) opened its doors in fall 2006. It occupies the heavily-remodeled Snyder-Phillips complex (JMC's old home). Many aspects of RCAH reflect a discernible JMC heritage.

JMC Alumni Responses to NRCPPC Questionnaire
In summer 2004 NRCPPC sent a questionnaire to JMC alumni to learn our opinions on how the JMC experience might inform plans for a new college.
