Kroto Innovation Centre

Opened in late 2006 the Kroto Innovation Centre is a £2M incubator facility at the heart of North Campus, one of Europe's largest multidisciplinary research facilities. Kroto is co-located with the National Centre for III-V technologies providing direct access to state of the art clean room and device fabrication facilities.

Kroto provides an ideal space to grow new or existing technology based businesses. This prestigious location provides the opportunity to engage with the knowledge and asset base of one of the world’s top universities with a wealth of research and facilities focused on emerging technologies.

Sheffield Bioincubator

The Sheffield Bioincubator was built in 2006 as a centre for small businesses and innovation at the University of Sheffield. It is located at the centre of the University’s research campus and less than 1 KM from Sheffield’s medical quarter, home to the university teaching hospitals and two renowned specialist hospitals including Weston Park, one of only four dedicated cancer hospitals in the UK.

The Bioincubator provides the ideal environment for entrepreneurial health-tech innovation to flourish, providing co-working space, high quality offices and flexible ACDP class II laboratories.
