Description: The Journal of New Zealand Literature (JNZL) is the only international, fully peer-reviewed journal devoted to New Zealand literary studies. Established in 1983 and published annually, JNZL carries scholarly and critical essays on all aspects of New Zealand literature and cultural studies. It also reviews books of critical interest in the field of New Zealand literary studies, and hosts the annual JNZL Prize for a first publication in the area of New Zealand literary studies. The journal's international Editorial Advisory Board comprises eleven international scholars working in the field. Subscriptions to JNZL are held by major libraries in the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada, Australia and New Zealand, Japan and South East Asia, and South Africa.

Moving Wall

The "moving wall" represents the time period between the last issue available in JSTOR and the most recently published issue of a journal. Moving walls are generally represented in years. In rare instances, a publisher has elected to have a "zero" moving wall, so their current issues are available in JSTOR shortly after publication.
Note: In calculating the moving wall, the current year is not counted.
For example, if the current year is 2008 and a journal has a 5 year moving wall, articles from the year 2002 are available.
